In Spain, more than 300,000 animals are abandoned each year
Colonia 22 is a cat colony located in the Tiétar Valley. We take care of the animals, ensure that the population is controlled, and work to change the culture of animal abuse that currently exists. We also build shelters and little houses for the community cats.

Alien Cat
This installation was inspired by a visit to an abandoned factory. The factory still contained all its machinery, objects, and materials, as if it had never been shut down. Upon entering, one gets the sense that all that activity and life were suddenly suspended, frozen in place without any human presence.

We created this project with the intention of mobilizing and inspiring. To use our imagination to create alternatives and new paths, different ways of interacting and sharing.
We want to promote a (re)connection with nature, places, and among people. To rediscover the value of physical contact with objects, of being present.
To enjoy making things with our hands. To create simple solutions using what’s available. The imperfect, the mechanical, the analog. To make efficient use of resources. To reuse.
Today, we hope to bring people and ideas together in a positive direction that can shape the future.
We are Luciana Lardiés and Sebastián Bandin. Compulsive creators. We believe there is much to be done and that we can do a lot to make things better. Tireless swimmers against the current. We have a vision of the world we want hanging in our home, and we want to share it. We want to reconnect with reality! We want to play, experiment, touch, and break things. And then fix them and break them again. We’ve gathered countless tools that we use to create unique objects, spaces, and experiences. Illustration, photography, video, music, objects, installations, publications… If you can imagine it and touch it, we’ll make it.

Our roots are in art. We have been working for many years in Buenos Aires, Madrid, and Berlin, developing our own projects and collaborating with many others.
